Greenlight is thrilled to host a showcase with beloved Brooklyn nonprofit publisher Ugly Duckling Presse in celebration of their 25th anniversary celebration! Ugly Duckling Presse is a nonprofit publisher for poetry, translation, experimental nonfiction, performance texts, and books by artists. UDP was transformed from a 1990s zine into a Brooklyn-based small press by a volunteer editorial collective that has published more than 200 titles to date. The celebration features readings by a variety of writers published by UDP, including Alexis Almeida (I Have Never Been Able to Sing), Diana Hamilton (God Was Right), Jason Morris (Levon Helm), Zahra Patterson (Chronology), Lisa Rogal (Morning Ritual), and Anna Vitale (Our Rimbaud Mask). A wine reception follows the event.
