Divya Srinivasan presents Little Owl’s Night
Illustrator Divya Srinivasan has been featured in The New Yorker, and has worked with “This American Life,” They Might Be Giants, The Sundance Channel, Sufjan Stevens, and Weird Al Yankovic. Her debut picture book, Little Owl’s Night, is the perfect bedtime story - a gratifying picture book about what happens at nighttime. Little Owl loves the night, and there is so much going on. A possum family passes by, Hedgehog sniffs for mushrooms, Skunk eats berries, and Little Owl’s friend Fox comes for a visit. Full of curiosity, Little Owl wonders why Bear is sound asleep in his cave and asks his mama, “Tell me how the night ends.” As she describes the day, morning comes, and Little Owl falls fast asleep.
