This bi-annual event for educators (teachers, librarians, and administrators for K – 12 students) is your chance to learn about new books and materials, meet authors with books relevant to your classroom, and learn about Greenlight's partnership opportunities for your schools. For this spring event, Greenlight is delighted to partner with Penguin Random House – the newly merged combination of Penguin Books and Random House – to present new titles chosen by our talented children’s book sales reps. Handouts will be provided, and all items will be available for sale at a special 20% discount tonight only! The evening will conclude with a book presentation by PRH author Chris Grabenstein, author of the New York Times bestseller Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library and the co-author (with James Patterson) of the #1 Bestsellers I Funny, I Even Funnier, and Treasure Hunters – a sample of the kind of author visits Greenlight can bring to schools! Wine and snacks will be provided before and after the hour-long event, and Greenlight Bookstore staff will be on hand to talk about book fairs, author visits, and other partnership opportunities. You can also expect door prizes and free book-related materials for educators!
