Greenlight is proud to take part in the PLG Arts Music Festival for the second year in a row! The festival takes place from May 13 – May 20 in locations all around Prospect Lefferts Gardens, featuring musicians from all around Brooklyn, including right here in the neighborhood! For this special occasion, PLG Arts puts on a special performance of Peter and the Wolf. The classic, beloved symphonic fairy tale, composed by Sergei Prokofiev, will be brought to life by Wildebeest, a Brooklyn wind quintet (Michel Gentile on flute, Katie Scheele on oboe, Mike McGinnis on clarinet, Nathan Koci on horn, and Sara Schoenbeck on bassoon), and narrated by PLG Arts’ own Hollis Headrick. Music lovers young and old are invited to a fantastical performance at Greenlight! All ages.
