Book launch: Michael Harriot presents
Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America
In conversation with Touré
Wine reception to follow

America’s backstory is a whitewashed mythology implanted in our collective memory, but in Black AF History, Michael Harriot presents a more accurate version of American history. Combining unapologetically provocative storytelling with meticulous research based on primary sources as well as the work of pioneering Black historians, scholars, and journalists, Harriot removes the white sugarcoating from the American story, placing Black people squarely at the center. “If I ever won an election for political office, I would have them swear me in on a copy of Black AF History” (W. Kamau Bell). Please join us in welcoming Harriot to our events stage in conversation with Greenlight friend and neighbor Touré for an evening with one of the most exciting political commentators working today. Wine reception to follow.
