When seventeen-year-old Rania's mom is taken from their Brooklyn apartment by ICE, everything changes—and Rania must figure out how to survive, embarking on a road trip and searching for answers to questions she never thought to ask. We Are All We Have is a vivid exploration of what happens when the country you have put your hopes into is fast shutting down, told through the story of one girl bursting with dreams and navigating secrets, love, and the lure of the open road.
