With gritty and heartbreaking honesty, Browne delivers a novel-in-verse about broken promises, fast rumors, and when growing up means growing apart from your best friend. Chlorine Sky is about love and loss, a friendship gone awry, femme power, and basketball swag and tomboy antics. And it is about what it means to not only lose a friend, but how in filling that void, you find yourself. This event will feature special guests Renée Watson, author of Piecing Me Together, Love Is a Revolution, and co-author of Watch Us Rise, and Ellen Hagan, author of Reckless, Glorious, Girl and co-author of Watch Us Rise.
