Greenlight is delighted to celebrate the newest poetry collections from Lara Mimosa Montes and Mirene Arsanios with a live and in-person reading and discussion. In Thresholes, Lara Mimosa Montes writes of her family's past, offering both a doorway and an absence, a roadmap and a remembering. In The Autobiography of a Language, Mirene Arsanios both mourns and blasts apart the notion of the mother tongue, reminding us that for each mother tongue at least another tongue is silenced. Lara and Mirene join together at our Prospect Lefferts Gardens store for a night of poetry not to be missed.
