James Hannaham presents Delicious Foods

Delicious Foods, the new novel by Brooklyn author James Hannaham (author of the critically acclaimed God Says No) addresses poverty, racism, addiction, and the dark side of American agricultural labor. Told in three voices – a mother, son, and the drug that unravels their lives – the novel moves back and forth in time, converging on the sinister industrial farm of the title. The book is a Greenlight Bookstore First Editions Club selection, and has been highly praised by fellow authors including Jennifer Egan, who writes, “James Hannaham’s new novel is a tour de force.
