Book Launch: George Saunders presents Tenth of December
(A Greenlight First Editions Club selection)
The first story collection in six years from MacArthur “Genius” Grant winner George Saunders is cause for celebration, and Greenlight is proud to host the book launch event for Tenth of December – which is also the first selection of the Greenlight First Editions Club. The stories in this new collection are infused with Saunders’s signature blend of exuberant prose, deep humanity, and stylistic innovation. Taking on the big themes (class, sex, love, loss, work, despair, war), Saunders’ stories here are concerned with what makes us good, and what makes us human. Saunders reads and discusses his work tonight and signs copies of Tenth of December. Please note: Customers who purchase Saunders' new novel Tenth of December from Greenlight will be given a pass with a group number indicating his/her place in the post-event signing line. Passes will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers without passes (did not buy their copy from Greenlight) and those with large quantities of books will be asked to wait at the end of the signing line.
