Monthly magazine The Believer, published by McSweeney’s, has become a staple of the literary world in the last ten years. Publishing long-form book reviews and interviews with authors, musicians and other cultural figures, The Believer’s ethos is “give people and books the benefit of the doubt.” Greenlight joins in celebrating that optimism and longevity, along with a decade of great writing, with an evening of readings and discussion featuring The Believer’s editors and contributing authors – ending, as all book parties should, with drinks, baked goods and conversation, courtesy of the fine folks at Brooklyn Brewery and Spirited Brooklyn.
