OFFSITE EVENT: Berg’n Beer Hall
Eddie Huang presents Double Cup Love: On the Trail of Family, Food, and Broken Hearts in China
In conversation with Elena Bergeron
Drink discounts with book purchase!

Greenlight is thrilled to partner with Berg’n, the beer hall and eatery from the creators of the Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg, to host Eddie Huang, creator of iconic restaurant Baohaus and author of the memoir Fresh Off the Boat, basis of the ABC sitcom, as well as host of Huang’s World on Viceland. Eddie’s new memoir Double Cup Love is about what happens after coming of age and discovering what it means to be Taiwanese-Chinese in America: he returns to find out what it means in China. Huang sheds nation, race, and even family but as he gets deeper into China, he realizes that he might have left his heart with an Italian girl in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Huang talks about family, travel, love, and of course food with his friend Elena Bergeron, Executive Editor at SB Nation and Eddie’s co-host on the MSG podcast. A book signing follows the talk; copies of Double Cup Love are 20% off at the event, and each book purchase comes with a drinks bracelet for happy hour prices at Berg’n all night long! Join us for an evening with Eddie, plus special Double Cup Love-inspired food and drink specials at Berg’n.
