Danny Fingeroth presents A Marvelous Life: The Amazing Story of Stan Lee
In conversation with David Kasakove
Free with RSVP

Danny Fingeroth, a longtime writer and editor at Marvel Comics and now a lauded pop culture critic and historian, knew and worked with Stan Lee for over four decades. A Marvelous Life provides Fingeroth's insider view of Stan Lee, delving into how Lee redefined the word “hero” and reconstructed the world’s idea of how a story should be told with his invention of Marvel Comics. Through exclusive interviews with Lee himself, as well as his colleagues, family and friends, and unique access to Lee’s personal archives at the University of Wyoming, Fingeroth uses never-before-seen material to illuminate the man behind so much of the media that defines today’s pop culture. Joining Fingeroth in conversation is David Kasakove, a longtime comics fan and collector and a lawyer who represents several top comics creators. The event will include a visual presentation, and books will be for sale on site.

The Way Station is located at 683 Washington Ave in Brooklyn.
