Ann Patchett presents The Dutch House
Tickets $30 (includes seat and book)
Award-winning and New York Times bestselling author Ann Patchett returns with her most powerful novel to date: a richly moving story that explores the indelible bond between two siblings, the house of their childhood, and a past that will not let them go. The Dutch House is the story of a paradise lost, a tour de force that digs deeply into questions of inheritance, love and forgiveness, of how we want to see ourselves and of who we really are. Filled with suspense, it is a book that reads quickly, but what happens to siblings Danny and Maeve will stay with readers for a very long time. Patchett launches her book at St. Joseph’s College as part of the Brooklyn Voices series.
Each $30 ticket includes admission to the event, as well as a hardcover copy of The Dutch House; books are distributed at the event, and additional books are for sale. Ann Patchett will sign books following the discussion.
