Co-hosted by the New York Writers Coalition
Wine reception to follow

Greenlight is thrilled to host an evening of poetry and performance with poets from the Kundiman community! Kundiman is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing generations of writers and readers of Asian American literature. Kundiman creates a space where Asian Americans can explore, through art, the unique challenges that face the new and ever-changing diaspora. Poets from the Kundiman community will read from their new work at tonight’s event, co-hosted by the New York Writers Coalition. Tamiko Beyer is a Lambda Literary finalist and the author of We Come Elemental. Kimiko Hahn is the American Book Award-winning author of ten books of poetry and is distinguished professor in the MFA program at Queens College CUNY. Joseph O. Legaspi is the co-founder of Kundiman, and the author of the collections Threshold and Imago. Bushra Rehman is a poet and novelist and the co-editor of Colonize This! Young Women of Color on Today’s Feminism. A signing and wine reception follows the reading.
