Our ongoing Blogger/Author Pairings series features conversations between authors and bloggers who share territories, passions, and preoccupations. Seth Greenland is the author of The Angry Buddhist, a searing dark comedy that blends crime and timely social commentary in the story of a California congressman balancing potential scandal. Greenland talks about the book with blogger Choire Sicha, coproprietor of The Awl and the author of the forthcoming book Very Recent History. The event will be introduced by series curator Ron Hogan, creator of the seminal literary blog Beatrice.com. Ron writes, “The biting humor of The Awl is a good fit for Seth's dark satirical vision of Palm Springs.” Join us for an irreverent pre-election discussion of American family, marriage and politics in all their sordid glory.
