Greenlight is delighted to offer a weekly singalong/story time event for babies and toddlers each Friday afternoon! Join us in the kids section for 40 minutes of favorite songs and stories for the littlest booklovers, led by Greenlight bookseller Jarrod and his trusty guitar. Ages 6 weeks to 3 years.

Story Time: Author/illustrator You Byun presents Dream Friends

Brooklyn-based, Korean-born author You Byun is an award-winning illustrator, and Greenlight is excited to host a reading from her debut picture book! In Dream Friends, Melody has the most wonderful friend in her dreams. They do all sorts of magical things together. But when Melody wakes up, she’s back in the real world, where she hasn’t yet made a friend. Then her dream friend inspires her to make some moves that help Melody’s dream of friendship come true. Join us for a reading of Dream Friends and a live drawing demonstration with You Byun at Greenlight. Ages 3 to 8.

Baby Story Time: Deborah Donenfeld presents Baby ABC and Baby 123
With special guest babies!

New York photographer Deborah Donenfeld is the creator of two wonderful new board books for babies, Baby ABC and Baby 123. The adorable photographs are a great way to learn letters and numbers – and both books feature babies living right here in Fort Greene! Deborah will read and sign her books for the littlest book lovers today, and introduce some of the baby stars of the book (who are already a little bit grown up). Join us for a book presentation just made for babies! Ages 6 weeks to 3 years.
