Greenlight is delighted to welcome Brooklyn author/illustrator and frequent guest Elisha Cooper back to Story Time to present his new picture book Homer! Homer is an old dog who sits on a porch looking over a beach and watches as the other dogs in the family head out for the day, then the children, then the parents. Then he welcomes them back. In Elisha's words, "I thought how sitting in one spot and observing the world, and being surrounded by family and love is not a bad place to be." The reading and drawing presentation will begin at 11:00 as usual, but as a special treat, Elisha will be at Greenlight starting at 10:30 to create drawings for kids by request!
