Led by co-owner Jessica and book group coordinator Natalie, this group meets on the third Thursday or each month to discuss paperback fiction, often with a local focus. During our first year, we are featuring many authors who are local to Fort Greene, and authors often join the book group at the end of the meeting to answer questions.

For June 21, the book group will be reading Kate Christensen's The Great Man, a suspenseful and bitingly funny drama about the disputed legacy of a famous artist and the women he left behind, set in the contemporary New York art world.

Randy Fairbanks & Matt Lake present Weird U.S.: A Freaky Field Trip Through the 50 States

Have you ever visited a UFO museum?  What about a house that looks like a mushroom? Or the world's largest cow?  These things aren't found in some strange far-off land -- they're all right here in the U.S.A.!  Co-authors Randy Fairbanks and Matt Lake take young readers on a trip through some of the wonderful weirdness to be found across the country, telling stories and showing photos from their new book Weird U.S.  Randy and Mark will lead activities geared toward the youngest weirdness enthusiasts, and invite kids to share their own weird stories, as well as signing copies of their unique book.

On Sunday mornings, wonderful performers keep babies and toddlers under 3 years old entertained with stories, songs, and interactive performance.Today, the kid-loving staff at Greenlight take the stage with sing-alongs from our favorite baby board books like Going On A Bear Hunt, The Wheels On the Bus, and more!
