About the Author
Leslie Muir is a writer, painter and poet. She is also a very adventuresome amateur chef (although she has never knowingly cooked alongside a mouse). Leslie lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her computer geek husband, two high-spirited sons, and a large German Shepherd who will eat any type of crumble jumble. This is her third book for children.
Betsy Lewin is a New York Times best-selling illustrator and has garnered many awards, including a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators, a Caldecott Honor for Click, Clack, Moo; Cows That Type, and an Honor for the first ever Ted Geisel Award given by the ALA for the book she illustrated, Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa. She lives with her husband in a brownstone in Brooklyn, where they share studio space, and their cat, Sophie, can usually be found napping on their drawing table.
